Vivienne has a desire to represent the people of East Coast Bays as an electorate MP. She brings her life experience and enthusiasm for community activism to voters. She pledges to be an MP who will have a presence and an availability not seen currently in the East Coast Bays electorate.
Born on the North Shore and resident since age 14. Attended high school at Birkdale College.
Vivienne is married to George and has raised 2 adult children Jenni and Kirsten, and one son Richard who currently attends Westlake Boys High School.
Vivienne is currently teaching at Sunnynook Primary School.

Playcentre Movement
-12yrs contribution to the movement starting out as a Young Solo Mum.
-Former President of her local centre overseeing the building of the new Totaravale Playcentre.
-Liaison Convenor on the North Shore Playcentre Association executive in 1994.
-Held role on the facilitation team providing courses for parents.
Scouting New Zealand
-Vivienne has been an active member of Scouting New Zealand from the age of 15.
-Has held positions including Area Cub Leader supporting leaders from Devonport to Warkworth and
Assistant National Trainer.
-Recipient of the Medal of Merit for Services to Scouting in 2005.
Real life experience that will enable Viv to empathise with constituent issues
-In 2000 returned to university as an adult student completing a Bachelor of Education.
-This saw her take on a position as teacher at Sunnynook School.
-Vivienne is the President and District Representative for North Shore branch of the NZEI.
